As an example of a hypothetical aircraft StrikeStar the authors selected two-engined aircraft modification DarkStar, prepared by Lockheed-Martin. This was particularly increased load capacity and space for bulkier equipment and armaments. It also increased the range and speed. This version of the machine DarkStar but was only a kind of intermediate stages of development, or rather the demonstration study, from which to develop further proposals for future UAVs armed with stealth characteristics.
